We’re building our team and seeking an Interior Designer to support Erin Roberts in all aspects of the interior and product design business.
Overview of position
Freelance Independent Contractor
Seasonal part - time / project - based
Pay depending on experience
Remote and in - person work
1 month trial period to start
IDEAL CANDIDATE / WHO SHOULD APPLY
This is for you if:
— You have 5+ years experience working at a design firm and have a degree in interior design or architecture (required)
— You have field experience in residential or commercial remodeling and have interests in furniture design, ceramics and photography
— You are detail oriented and methodical about getting things done well, carefully, and on time, and are dedicated and passionate about your work
— You are friendly, patient, calm under pressure, and able to respond quickly to emails when working remotely
— You take organized, detailed notes and like researching solutions for creative problem solving, are able to do work independently and like to brainstorm ideas
— You are available to work seasonally on a project - to - project basis with a flexible schedule and are legally allowed to work in the United States without sponsorship
— You are able to replicate workflows and different design styles with detail and accuracy

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Interior Design & Styling
— Support Principal designer on site visits, measuring spaces, pinterest inspiration, sketchup model building, space planning, digital design boards, furniture selection, shopping local furniture showrooms, upstate vintage shopping, shop drawings for custom items, finish selection and sample pickups, budget spreadsheets, renovation research, quotes for custom work, coordinating with contractors, ordering furniture, tracking shipments, installation on site, renovation project management, styling spaces for photoshoots upon completion.
